WHY WE DO THIS

The Professional Coaching Course is a year-long program we offer to people developing themselves as professional and personal coaches. As part of that program, we have opportunities for guests to participate as clients with coaches-in-training who are studying with us. Experience virtual one-on-one coaching first-hand on a topic of your choice:

career direction or progression
relationship issues or challenges, e.g., establishing healthy boundaries
professional development, e.g., approaching a new role or a promotion
leadership challenges, e.g., conflict management, being agile and flexible, broken trust, etc.
developing a new skill or competence, e.g., self-care, self-confidence, courage to speak up, assertiveness
challenges you are facing with regard to the current world situation e.g., diversity and inclusion, political unrest, high cost of living, climate change, etc.

Your participation allows us to assess the skill and competence of our coaches-in-training, and your feedback helps us qualify them for certification as Professional Integral Coaches. Signing up as a guest client also allows you to explore coaching as a professional path, and it is an excellent way to find out if Integral Coaching is something you would like to learn and develop yourself.

WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS

OPPORTUNITY:

We have an opportunity for you to receive free virtual coaching from one of our PCC students, who is 3/4 of the way through their year-long program.

Two sessions will be scheduled at your convenience before 09 February 2024. The second session will be recorded for use as part of the certification process.
Before pairing you with the right coach, we do a brief (10-minute) Zoom interview to learn more about your coaching topic.
We will then pair you with your coach, who will contact you by 27 January 2024 to set up both coaching sessions.
We ask you to make a firm commitment since your participation is vital to the success of the process.

REQUIREMENTS:

As these sessions will take place virtually, there are certain requirements that you would need to meet to participate:

You will need to be available full-time.
You will need a pleasant, private, quiet place or area with an excellent Wi-Fi connection.
You will need to have downloaded the Zoom application as well as have experimented working with it.

CONFIDENTIALITY:

We take the confidentiality of our coaching extremely seriously. You are welcome to use a different name and/or remove your name from the Zoom screen if you wish. Our ethical codes bind all our Professional Coaches to retain absolute confidentiality of what is shared in a private or group setting.

What you can expect…

You receive free coaching from a student in our Professional Coaching Course. The student is learning our methodology and practicing it with you. Our students are professionals with significant work and life experience. In many cases, coaching is their second or even third career.

What we ask of you…

We ask you to attend as arranged since your participation is vital. This is part of our students’ qualification and certification process.

What is needed before the session…

You select the coaching topic, and we match you with a student who will coach you. Please tell us about your topic before we connect you with a coach so that we can make the best match. In 99% of the cases, the issues that guest clients pick are within the range of our coaches.

On the day…

You have two conversations with your coach: an initial one where you describe your coaching topic, ask questions and get to know you. In the second conversation, they share what they observed and offer you a new way of thinking about your situation. In between, there is a pause when they are digesting and reflecting, and you are on your own. We receive many interested clients, but we only have limited slots available. If you are selected, we will contact you as soon as possible for your interview.
