A Testament to Excellence: UCT GSB’s EMBA Ranked Best in Africa and 11th Globally
At the Centre for Coaching, we are proud to celebrate the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business (UCT GSB) being ranked the top Executive MBA (EMBA) programme in Africa and 11th globally, according to the latest CEO Magazine Global MBA Rankings 2025. This global recognition reflects the GSB’s unwavering commitment to academic rigour, leadership development, and meaningful impact in complex and rapidly changing environments—values that resonate deeply with our mission.
As a centre of excellence based at the UCT GSB, we are honoured to contribute to this thriving ecosystem of learning and transformation. Since our inception in 2001 (and the launch of our Swiss office in 2014), we have partnered with the GSB to support leaders globally across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and beyond. Our ICF-accredited Integral Coaching® programmes, grounded in a robust methodology that blends practical application with profound personal transformation, assist leaders in navigating uncertainty, complexity, and strategic challenges with greater awareness and purpose.
The GSB EMBA is not a traditional business degree – it is a transformative learning journey designed for experienced executives who aspire to lead more consciously and systemically. It integrates systems thinking, design thinking, and integrative thinking to equip leaders with the necessary skills to build resilience and make better decisions.
It is no coincidence that the CEO Magazine ranking emphasised employer reputation, thought leadership, career outcomes, and diversity—areas in which the GSB continues to excel, thanks to its outstanding faculty, interdisciplinary approach, and commitment to developing leadership for a better world.
For us at the Centre for Coaching, this ranking reflects what we witness every day: that transformative leadership requires not only business acumen but also the capacity to pause, reflect, and lead with intention.
Congratulations to our colleagues at the GSB on this outstanding achievement. We are honoured to be part of a learning community that is shaping leadership across continents from Africa to Europe, the Middle East to Asia. To our clients, alumni, and global community, we thank you for walking this path of leadership and transformation with us.
This is more than a celebration of a ranking; it is a celebration of a shared vision: to cultivate courageous, conscious leaders who make a meaningful difference in the world.
